Divisions
6U Division
5- and 6-year-olds will learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing and base running.
A combination of coach pitching and a batting tee are used during games to develop and reinforce the correct batting swing.
8U Division
7- and 8-year-olds will learn some basic game strategies, stealing, pitching and continue to develop softball fundamentals.
This is the first level that features "kid-pitching" in games and a player draft.
10U Division
9- and 10-year-olds will learn more advanced techniques and game strategies related to stealing, bunting, dropped-third-strike and other aspects of the game.
Players continue to develop pitching and catching skills.
12U Division
11- and 12-year-olds start to focus on a few positions and advance their individual skill level while learning team concepts. This division becomes more challenging as a 12" ball is used, hitters face faster, more challenging pitches and pitchers throw from a greater distance from home plate.
17U Division
13-to-17-year-olds will play in a competitive environment that challenges and develops a more thorough understanding of softball and game strategies to advance their softball skills in preparation for and during high school.
