Dear ESO Families,I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe during these challenging times. As many of you know, the recent wildfires in Los Angeles have displaced thousands of families who have lost their homes and belongings—softball/baseball gear included. While we are not currently aware of any ESO families affected with property loss, we want to stand by our larger community and offer our support to those in need.
Rather than starting our efforts from scratch, we are joining already established initiatives to provide help to those in need. This will ensure families can get help faster and more effectively than what we would be able to do on our own! We are proud to partner with 365 Baseball, Jen Schro, and Encino Little League to help make sure this aid goes to where it needs as quickly as possible.
Please forward this email to anybody who has been affected so they can sign up for help!

Equipment Drop Off: We invite everyone to join our donation drive by bringing DICKS Gift Cards and new or gently used softball and baseball equipment (bats, gloves, helmets, masks, bags, lightly worn shoes, etc.) this Saturday (1/18/25) during the MLK Western Select Tournament at the ESO fields any time between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. PST. Donations can be dropped off near the tournament check-in table.
This is a chance for our community to come together, demonstrate compassion, and empower one another through tangible support.
Thank you for showing what it means to be part of ESO: a league committed to lifting each other up both on and off the field. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me directly at president@ESOgirlssoftball.com. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of families who need it most.
With gratitude and hope,
Peter Dulay
