The ESO Girls Softball community has always been more than just a league; it’s a family. Over the years, Matt and Christina Weiss, along with their children Ellie and Mason, became an integral part of this family. Ellie has been a dedicated ESO player, and Mason, while not playing softball himself, often joined to cheer on his sister and made lasting friendships here. Together, they spent countless weekends at the field, surrounded by friends, camaraderie, and the joy of the game. To honor Matt’s memory, we are setting up a donation fund in his name. Contributions will go towards supporting ESO Girls Softball, which provides opportunities for young female athletes to learn, grow, and find their own love for the sport—just as Ellie has. Matt’s pride in his children was evident in their every success, both on and off the field. He loved seeing Ellie and Mason pursue their dreams, and he cherished the sense of community that ESO brought to their lives.
